Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a convenient location for exploring Tatton Park and was inviting, though the room was on the small side. The dining provided plenty of choice, but the quality could be improved. Good value for the price paid.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room was spacious and comfortable with excellent facilities, but the water heating system was quite loud, especially at 5 am. The service was friendly and professional, although it felt a bit outdated. The location was ideal for exploring the nearby market town with plenty of pubs and restaurants, but there were some delays. The dining experience offered a great variety of delicious food, and the facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel offers a very nice big comfortable bed, but the room decor is somewhat dated compared to other hotels of a similar standard. The TV is tiny with a poor signal, and there is a noticeable musty damp smell. However, the staff is really helpful and attentive, though they were struggling to keep up with seating guests. The location is central, ideal for accessing Manchester, with easy tram access to Old Trafford and close proximity to shops in Altrincham town center. The dining options are self-service and satisfactory. The hotel has some shortcomings but is reasonably priced.
